Westside Tattoo Mermaid Beach is considered to be one of the leading custom tattoo studios in South East Queensland. Established in 1998 and now home to some of the country’s most talented tattooists, we specialize in a wide variety of styles including Japanese-influenced, American traditional, neo-traditional and illustrative, realism, sacred geometric and dotwork, tribal, script.. you name it, we got it. Our main goal as a studio is to provide our clients with a tattoo nothing short of the highest standard which they will proudly wear for life. We encourage our customers to browse our artist gallery to find which artist best suits you and your ideas. Our counter staff and tattooists can help guide you through this process. Please note that Westside Tattoo will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 years.

If you’d like to be tattooed by one of our artists, contact the studio to discuss what you’re after with our shop manager.
The best way to do this is in person, simply drop by to speak to us anytime we’re open. Once we’ve established what you’re after and whether we’ll be able to help you, we’ll book you an initial consultation and follow up tattoo session/s with the appropriate tattooist.
Alternatively, complete our Inquiry Form and our bookings manager will contact you ASAP to book a consult and/or tattoo appointments with your chosen or most suited artist. It’s simple and easy!
While we’re a very busy studio and most of our work is by appointment, we also welcome walk-ins wherever possible. We recommend our customers to call the studio ahead of time to check which artists are available on the day.
